About me
My name is Isaac buendia: www.isaacbuendia.com.
I started my musical journey at age 8 at the Conservatorio Superior de Música, studying solfeggio, choral singing, and classical guitar, and later expanded my training at the Escuela de Música Moderna BCN FUSIO.
I have performed mainly in Madrid and Barcelona, playing in bands across various styles. Highlights include:
Fuzzion (soul/funk) — performed in venues like Sidecar and Tarantos (1997–2003)
Let’s Go Dutch (Indie Rock) — notable Madrid venues including Moby Dick and Sala Cats (2009–2013)
LNA (Pop/Folk) — won a prize and performed at the Vallecas festival (2010)
I have also performed solo in venues such as El Rincón del Arte Nuevo, Sala Zanzíbar, and Triskel.
I have trained with renowned flamenco masters, including Oscar Herrero, Álvaro Antoná, Daniel Escario, and Andrés Hernández “Pituquete”, and I now teach flamenco, classical, acoustic, and electric guitar at institutions such as A Tocar, St George’s School, Calderón de la Barca, Julián de Marías, La Cabrera, and Escuela de Música y Danza Pinzón.
